Rev. Fr. Joseph Ekwoanya

I was born in Zaria, Nigeria, in 1977. I hail from Awka-Etiti, in Anambra State, Nigeria. I was ordained a priest for the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, Nigeria, on November 22nd, 2012. Since then, I have served the local church in Sokoto. From December 2012 to August 2015, I served at St Martin de Porres Parish, Katsina. After serving in Katsina, I was posted to work in Jega. I served as the parish priest of St Paul, Jega, from August 2015 to January 2021. After that, I was assigned to Holy Trinity Parish, Kamba, from January 2021 to July 2022. Through the benevolence of our Bishop, our diocese granted me the opportunity to pursue further studies.
