Catholic Women Organisation
Uniting Catholic women for evangelisation, charity and the advancement of women, girls and families.
To promote the presence, participation and co-responsibility of Catholic women in the Church, enabling them to fulfil their mission of evangelism and to work for human development.
To unite our members in fulfilling their roles in the family, Church and society, following the footsteps of Mary, the Mother of our Lord, by defending the values of the Church and liberating the human person — especially women and the vulnerable.
The CWO serves the Church in evangelisation, charity, the empowerment of women and the development of the Church. We render services that help our youth receive religious, political, social and economic education, support the less privileged, and build strong relationships with other organisations within and outside the Church.
We support the total advancement of women towards self-reliance, girl-child education and family education, and in general support the local Church.
