In a beautiful gathering last night at the Holy Family Cathedral, Most Rev Mathew Hassan Kukah, Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Sokoto, celebrated a pontifical high Mass to mark his 40th years in priestly service.
The Holy Mass was followed by a reception where the cheerful faithful of the Diocese of Sokoto and well wishers were treated to delicacies and entertainment.

The anniversary of the Bishop Kukah coincided with 25th Priestly anniversary of two priests of the diocese vis: Frs Cyril Ibe and John Adili and were thus celebrated.
