CWO serves the church in Evangelization, Charity, Empowerment of women, Assist in the development of the church. Equally we, render services that assist our youths in receiving religious, political, social and economic education. We support the less privileged in our society, to establish a strong relationship with other organisations within and outside the church. We support the total advancement of women, geared towards self reliance, and girl child education and family education, and in general support the local church.
VISION: To promote the presence, participation and co-responsibility of Catholic women in the church in order to enable them fulfil their mission of evangelism and to work for human development. As an umbrella body of Catholic women in Nigeria and in cooperation with the World Union of Catholic Women Organisation (WUCWO) rallies and motivates Catholic Women in Nigeria to utilise and harness their energy for evangelisation and transformation of the society.
MISSION: To unite its members towards the fulfilment of their roles in the family, church and society following the footsteps of Mary the mother of our Lord Jesus Christ by defending the values of the church thereby liberating the human person especially the woman and the vulnerable.
