Bishop Kukah Cautions On Voices In Our Heads
"The voice of the Devil is many times easily mistaken for the voice of God.
It is the gift of the Holy Spirit that helps us to discern and know if the voice we hear is the voice of God and answer God's call.
The Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Most Reverend Matthew Hassan Kukah urged the caution in a homily at Mass on Sunday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish Old Airport, Sokoto.
He said every time God sends us, he makes available what is needed for the task.
A young lady in her twenties,Miss Judith Mary Salaudeen is set to be blessed with the reception of Five Sacraments of the Church in less than one month in Sokoto Diocese. Judith was baptized on Friday as an adult and received the Sacrament of Holy Eucharist the same day.
Two days later on Sunday to be precise, she received the Sacrament of confirmation at the hands of the Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Most Reverend Matthew Hassan Kukah at the Our Lady of Perpetual Help Parish, Old Airport Sokoto.
