Catholic Bishop of Sokoto Diocese, Rt. Rev. Dr. Matthew Hassan Kukah has challenged Catholics to take seriously the act of fasting for the forgiveness of sins. he made the call in a homily at the Ash Wednesday Mass at Holy Family Catholic Cathedral Sokoto.
Bishop Kukah also receiving ashes at the hand of one of the priests, Rev. Fr. Christopher Omotosho.
