Amidst tears, the mortal remains of Late Rev. Sr. Christiana Nwaejum Umeadi OP, were laid to rest yesterday in the Cemetery at Dominican Sisters' Convent, Gusau.
Sr Umeadi died in a ghastly auto crash on her way back from immunizing people against meningitis in Zamfara State.
The Funeral program which commenced with wake-keep and Holy Mass on Sunday evening witnessed Priests, parishioners, friends and sympathizers from different part of the Country.
Bishop of Apostolic Vicariate of Kontagora, Most Rev. Bulus Dauwa Yohanna who presided over the Mass at the wake-keep urged the faithful not to weep like people without hope (1 Thes 4:13) but rejoice in the fact that Sr. Christiana has gone to meet the Lord.
